Two Weeks
This course helps students improve basic underwriting skills and build confidence in underwriting decisions. The program features guest speakers, class discussion, contract study, and practical file underwriting exercises. Decisions pertaining to acceptance, acceptance with modification, or non-acceptance are made and discussed in class. Students work with a variety of general insurance policies and make comparisons with ones used by their companies.
